The Best Time of Year for Yachting

A good example of a favourite yachting area where the prices can vary depending on the season is the Mediterranean. Some argue that the summer is not actually the best time for chartering this region, as temperatures can approach 90 degrees in countries like Greece, and it is by far the most expensive period. If you prefer the hustle and nightlife of peak season however, the best times (and definitely the busiest) are from June to October, with June, July and August being the time when the crowds really move in!

One should consider avoiding the Caribbean from June through to November, as this period marks the Hurricane season. While it isn’t guaranteed that a hurricane will occur, the chance is enough to put some worry in the back of your mind during your holiday. While peak season is from December to April you might consider visiting during April or May, when good weather is coupled with better prices.

South East Asia offers a fascinating and enjoyable yachting experience. Peak season in this area is from December through April or January through May if you intend to visit the Andaman Sea (the body of water south of the Bay of Bengal and west of Thailand) specifically. May onwards offers less crowds and lower prices, but this period can unfortunately also be rainier and coupled with cloudy water (which is not ideal if you’re a diver).

Locals in the Seychelles are happy to point out that the whole year offers great weather for a yachting holiday. Different periods do offer different advantages, though. North Westerly winds blow from October to March and South Easterly from May to September. Calm periods are in April and October. If you intend to make your visit a diving trip, April and October are thus times when the water will be calmer, and more ideally suited to diving.

The Maldives similarly offer great weather the whole year round, but December through April are said to be the “dry season” when the sun shines for longer. These are also the busiest times, particularly from Christmas through to New Year. May to November can offer up some rain and cloudy skies, but this period is still warm. Again, if diving is an item on your agenda you might consider that February, March and April offer the clearest visibility.

The advantages of a yachting holiday are that you may not have to worry about booking accommodation, as your luxury home travels along with you, so booking in advance during the busy periods is something you may not have to be concerned about. Understanding the weather conditions will ensure, however, that your shore visits meet your own holiday needs and that you are comfortable in your yachting paradise.

Caribbean Islands: Celebrate Your Honeymoon in Tune With the Nature

A honeymoon vacation is a memorable thing in your life. If you are a newly wed couple, you can plan a Caribbean honeymoon. Caribbean Islands are one of the very few places on the earth that are exotic. Honeymooning in the Caribbean Islands is the ultimate romantic destination.

The only problem here is that it is really a hard task to decide upon any one of the Islands, as there are around 7000 Caribbean islands. Of these 7000 islands, around 36 island groups are made up of single islands like Jamaica or group islands like Bahamas that have around 2400 islands. The Bahamas islands provide the ideal setting for all activities you would like to do on a Caribbean honeymoon. You have a variety of accommodation available from family run inns dotted along the old world city streets to the five star resorts. And if you desire to swim with dolphins, Grand Bahama offers you the Dolphin Experience.

Every island has its own unique intimate resorts and cultural flavor to make a perfect honeymoon. Making a choice among these Islands is not easy though all of these islands are uninhabited. Every Caribbean island has its own unique tradition and culture and making a choice is not simple still. However honeymooners can find at least one all-inclusive resort on each and every island, which can become the best thing.

A Caribbean honeymoon provides pleasure with perfect tune with the nature that suits your feelings, with the wonderful beaches and calm seas. You never have to worry about time when you go to a Caribbean honeymoon vacation, as you are free to do what you want to do in the Caribbean irrespective of any time-based pressures you face in your regular day-to-day life. The rich and tropical Caribbean honeymoon resorts provide exotic spots for the married couple.

You should remember a few things when you think of a Caribbean honeymoon.
First, you should select an island that would suit you as newly-weds. As already said, there is no dearth of islands to select according to your taste. If you wish to have a typical Caribbean honeymoon experience, the best place to visit is Jamaica. It is a large island that provides shopping, clubbing, waterfalls etc apart from a lot of all-inclusive resorts. If you wish to have more privacy and intimacy, you have a number of smaller islands offering you complete privacy. You can visit Dominica and Culebra if you require privacy with your spouse. Here you can enjoy time and take rest in warm sun with your loved one though these islands do not provide much amenities.
The next thing that you should remember is to choose an all-inclusive resort in your Caribbean honeymoon trip as you can find a lot of resorts to choose from. You should make a choice of resorts that are special for ‘couples only' or 'adults only’. Such resorts are exclusively available for couples on romantic holidays and would not have to bear overexcited kids and noisy families.
And finally, you should pack your luggage and get ready for the trip after making reservations for the trip. Most Caribbean honeymoon packages are include all inclusive in the price of the trip so that your beach privileges, water sports, resorts, special prices at restaurants, hotel gifts, Champagne and other free drinks are taken care of.
